I guess someone at Stub Hub didn't realize that there are actually TWO baseball teams in Pennsylvania.
If you're going to market sports to people who love sports, you should probably hire folks who have at least a passing knowledge of what's going on in sports right now. Just a thought.

Of course, I'm a Phillies fan, so I must admit that the above article put a little bit of an evil smirk on my face. ;)
I wonder if it was sent to all teams, then they had to uncheck the boxes of the teams that didn't make it into the playoffs *phew* boy it's hard clicking check boxes to make those checks disappear... they probably only get paid $50,000 a year too...
it's okay. . .they're just getting ahead of the curve for when the pirates are winners in two years! maybe i should get my tixs now so i'm not sitting a northshore bar getting hammered and fighting w/ cops and peeing outside (like our city's beloved steeler kicker and his friends did last wkend) while my team is going for the gold!
we, pirate fans, can laugh out ourselves cuz we know our team is bad but we ARE going to get better w/ mccutchen, jones, laroche, crew - esp. when pedro alverz hits our infield next july!
i may not be 100% phillies fan but i'm a fan of any pa team in the play offs. after all, we have to give other cities a chance to have a sports championship. we are the city of champs -- 2 superbowls in 3 years and 2 stanley cup appearances in 2 yrs and winning it last year. other citys needs to experience the excitement. that's what pirate fans tell ourselves in order to not become depressed. but seriously, any pa team in hunt for a title is worth cheering for in my book!
