It's good to keep things in perspective.

I was pretty nauseous after watching the game tonight. Pretty upset. So, I thought it might be wise to keep things in perspective. After all, there must be some things that are worse/more painful than spending almost 3 hours watching Sidney Ponson kick our asses.

I made a list:
  • Turkish prison
  • Jamming shards of broken glass into my eyeballs
  • Kicking puppies
  • Oral surgery sans anesthesia
  • Televised golf
  • Spontaneous combustion
That's all I have.

Can I add "watching the NBA Draft Order 'ping-pong pull'" to that list? I only caught the all-important last 15 minutes and the TWolves *still* end up in the "no game-changing prospects left" position.

Oh yes...You're totally right. That is also worse.

For those of us allergic to anesthesia and therefore have to endure oral surgery without it, I can assure that watching that game last night was ALMOST worse. Watching Juan Rincon pitch these days is that painful...

Here's my bullet point:

Sitting in a cubicle, on a beautiful Friday afternoon before a long holiday weekend, listening to a conference call scheduled to go until 5:00 p.m. and watching Rincon pitch.
